A Transportation Security Administration agent was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 79-year-old passenger at Fort Lauderdale’s airport, with police saying she was “forcefully pushing her,” a report said.
Janiyah Wilson-Robinson, 21, of Margate, was taken into custody Wednesday following the incident at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, according to WPLG.

Agree, we fly often and the behavior of TSA agents is diverse. In fact, I have gotten to recognize some, usually the friendly ones. They don’t yell or demand or act like power hungry jerks. There’s a really cool one at LAX. White middle age guy......just doing his job and very nice. Always polite.....courteous.
Then there are jerks. Yelling, short with people....crappy looks on their faces. Miserable looking.
I told my wife.....you don’t need the TSA to fly. Just a machine now with technology to make sure you ain’t packing.

Actually his mama did. Makes it easy to rule out employment candidates, but perhaps that’s their mamas do that.

Actually, maybe that’s why everyone there was so very very nice. They had had to go through some kindness training.
There’s no fixing it.
i’d like to see TSA replaced by ICE and use more deadly tactics to detain the passenger who may look like a threat.
TSA thugs are drunk with power and believe they can do whatever they want to compliant passengers who must submit to their commands.
Flying is such a miserable experience now.

I’m in the same boat as you. And age has a role in perhaps a way you don’t think. There is a federal law against age discrimination.
I’ve read that some companies will quietly try to avoid hiring older people because of that law. And here’s why. A new, younger employee doesn’t work out. Fire him, and that’s it. But if it’s a new, older employee, the employer can be hit with an age discrimination lawsuit.
So weirdly, the law meant to help older folks can actually hurt them.

Without looking at pics, we know the TSA agent was a girl. And said agent has a name leaning to a certain demographic.

at an airport they probably have cameras even in the restrooms.
A values based culture, not a morals based culture.
