MIAMI β A judge in South Florida on June 11 signed an arrest warrant charging former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown with, attempted murder with a firearm. The criminal charge stems from a shooting at a celebrity boxing event on May 16 in Miami.
The warrant also calls for Brown, 36, who played 12 seasons in the NFL, to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest pending trial. Efforts to reach Brown were unsuccessful Thursday evening, The Washington Post reported.

The fourth time heβs been charged for that particular incident? It looks like he got away with whatever he did for a few weeks, and when he (or his hijacked account) was caught mocking dime store Patrick Bateman, he gets charges
No, 4th time he’s been charged with various things. He’s a POS. He gets in trouble ALL THE TIME.
Don’t mistake the cops doing their job and gathering evidence with the perp getting away with it. We don’t live in TV land, in the real world it takes days to weeks to put a case together enough for a warrant.
In related news, Houston Texans defensive back, Jimmie Ward, was arrested yesterday for domestic violence. Evidently he slapped and choked his girlfriend.
Checkout the link at post 11....domestic violence is #3.
And Brownie the Elf...
I know it’s got history but I’m pretty sure it’s not striking fear into the hearts of opposing players. π
I think they once tried out Brownie at quarterback. π§
Well they’ve got shedeur sanders now so everybody can relax.
Serious issues.
“..it takes weeks to put a case together enough for a warrant....”
I did not know that!
Maybe there’s a certain procedure that requires approval at various points, and if response is delayed or incorrectly provided, just that level of bureaucracy can gum up the works.
There’s tons of procedure and approval. You need a good evidence chain, which means valid warrants approved by judges. If you find the murder weapon without the proper chain it’s inadmissible. Heck even a straight up confession without the right steps can’t go to court. It’s great to know for certain who the killer is, but you’ve got to prove it, and you’ve got to prove it following laws and procedures that support an innocent until proven guilty system deliberately built to NOT send people to jail unless every i and t are dotted and crossed exactly right.
