No CDD. I heard those are bad. America will be fine. America was always agnostic which is why the first thing they did was put the separation of church and state as priority.
Uh.... no.
Not even close.
“America was always agnostic”
Incorrect assertion. America was always religious. The “separation of church and state” was claimed much later and is assumed to mean something it does not. The founders did not want church doctrine and clergy influencing or having a say in government as it did in England, France, etc. They wanted the government to be representative of the citizens and leave religion to private lives. The duties and obligations for one’s salvation were personal, not the state’s function.
Replacing morals with values was never intended. It is disastrous.
Example: Movies and media. Movies used to have morality-based characters. Now they have values-based characters. The first characters are moral according to formal, universal tenants, the second are amoral based upon “what’s good for me is good, what’s bad for me is bad.” Modern characters in media typically lie, cheat, deceive, steal, betray and murder. Totally immoral. Corrupt. But they are “good”. That’s amorality. And it’s throughout the culture now. The nation and culture is subverted. It is intended and orchestrated.
What is a CDD?
