the cost run roughly like this
1/3 energy
1/3 maintenance
1/3 capital construction costs.

Israel and Singapore currently enjoy record lowest costs of roughly $500@acre foot. To get to $200@acre foot would include.
1.)Factory made desalination units that can work alone or in concert with other units.
2.)Material’s research to extend the life of the units by 10-20 years.
3.) Membranes that desalinate seawater without extra force.
4.) Turning brine wastes from a cost center to a profit center.
5.) Converting H20 and CO2 to methane and other usable combustible fuels.

All of these goals are achievable within the next five years especially with someone like Musk.

"Everyone involved just needs to get a good nights sleep, and calm the hell down."

Trump's been through this so many times over the years that I doubt he'll lose any sleep over it. I know I won't. I don't give a crap about Musk, never did. Just like I don't give a crap about Russia, Ukraine, Europe, etc. I care about America First, and will to the day I die.

Thanks for taking the hit, Elon!

No chance he liked the reputation destruction he endured.

His undergrad story has been “flexible”, the Stanford admission story raises eyebrows, etc. Exactly what visa he was on when has been questioned.

He’s basically just another military tech cutout, taking credit for military-developed technologies.

They are going to be so destroyed when Trump and Musk clear this up and get back together again on other things.

It will happen. They will despair even more then.

What if it's a planned maneuver to calm the mob's attacks on Elon and his products?

Trump is a guy to whom absolutely loyalty is top priority. Must is a guy who will always say and do whatever he thinks best in a given moment.

A major fallout was inevitable.

Seems like a ruse to me to get crackpots to stop vandalizing Tesla.
Fake tension, even split. democRats leave Tesla alone.
Musk's work is done.

Elon and PDJT need to hold a close door meeting to hash out differences. Instead of snipping at each other on social media.

Let us just imagine having 80 to 90 percent of ALL manufacturing being done in the USA, with companies building and leasing here. Some Federal land could be leased at great rates. Employment rising, unemployment lowering, saving a lot of money and much more coming into the treasury.

Trump needs to cut out this nonsense about abolishing the debt ceiling.

And yes it was Trump in his first term who teamed up with Mitch McConnell to increase the National Debt past GDP.

As of nie National debt is 125% of GDP.

all true. trump’s plan is to grow the country out of its debt trap.

What does he have now 10 trillion in privateinvestment commitments over 4-8 years. That’s anywhere from 8 times to 5 times the public private capital investments during the biden years.

that compares with public and private investments in the USA under biden total capital investments likely ranged from $350–400 billion annually, or $0.35–0.4 trillion per year.
