President Trump on Wednesday signed a travel ban on a dozen countries and partially restricted travel from several more.

The travel ban goes into effect on Monday.

“After reviewing the report described in subsection (d) of this section, and after accounting for the foreign policy, national security, and counterterrorism objectives of the United States, I have determined to fully restrict and limit the entry of nationals of the following 12 countries: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. These restrictions distinguish between, but apply to both, the entry of immigrants and nonimmigrants,” Trump said.

President Trump partially restricted travel from several other countries.

They insist on calling these places countries but they’re really just geographic locations on a map. These places stopped functioning as countries long ago, if they ever functioned as one to begin with.

Coming to America to FA is at an end. It will be a privilege to enter America, not a playground to harm citizens, and spout anti western hate.

A Federal Judge will step in and stop this. Surprised it hasn’t happened already.

Good point.

Obviously, the issue is that while there surely are many good people in these places, there are also a good percentage of $hiheads that have ideological/political problems with us, and they are willing to settle it through force.

These are “war zones” and some of the people within these places belong to factions that are fighting against us or our allies.

Because these places have no true functioning government, allowing people in from these places is like drawing cards from a deck of 52 jokers. Unless these people did things to where they rise to the level where we are tracking them or are in our systems, they will fly under the radar even though they are a danger.

There is no vetting these people other than asking them “are you a bad guy?”

If they say no three times, then like the Tsarnaev brothers they get a green light (FBI interviews with them prior to the bombings).

The horrible thing is, (((that instead of fixing immigration and selectively targeting the known threats))), we created a “police state” of mass surveillance, grew the Intel service while aiming it inward, and side stepped Constitutional rights for citizens. The legacy of BS like the Patriot Act lives on today.

By the end of today, I expect a judge to block this.

Good.

Tired of these "refugees" being dropped by the tens of thousands into middle American towns - only to have them destroyed.

The Biden admin did a lot of damage to this country via open borders. Trump is trying to right this wrong.

Springfield, OH, may see some relief:

Fully Restricted Countries:

- Afghanistan

- Burma

- Chad

- Republic of the Congo

- Equatorial Guinea

- Eritrea

- Haiti

- Iran

- Libya

- Somalia

- Sudan

- Yemen

Partially Restricted Countries:

- Burundi

- Cuba

- Laos

- Sierra Leone

- Togo

- Turkmenistan

- Venezuela

I expect a Biden or Obama judge to block this by the end of the day...
