Need new hearing aids and some I've researched have a setting to assist understanding those talking while wearing a mask.

Mine are top of the line and can only get my hearing to the level where I need them.
-45 dB across the board —with— hearing aids.

I bought some hearing aids on Amazon for $100 to send to a relative. She says they work better than her old ones. Not sure exactly how much the old ones cost but it was in the thousands. I think between $4000 - $6000.
She broke one and I figured it was worth a try for $100, plus I could always send them back if they didn’t work.
If they continue to work for the next 6 months, I plan to get her another pair as a backup. I haven’t decided yet if I should get the exact same kind or if I should try a different kind.
