When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.

Silver is the “loose change” compared to gold. Of course, you can have gold in smaller denominations than 1 Oz. No reason that silver can’t also be had in smaller weights. And there’s always “junk silver”, older US currency that had silver in it, and has value based on the silver content.
If we were back on the gold standard, this wouldn’t be an issue. if gold were worth 5000 US dollars, then 5000 US dollars would carry the value of 1 ounce of gold and would be accepted as such.
Precious metals are an anchor of value because of their rarity. They cannot easily be found or mined. Yes, a bit can be found here and there but in general, those coins hold their value and you can carry them with you and thus protect them with the full faith of the 1911 you carry in your hand/pocket/holster.
I have a quarter pound of “shot” silver if sh!t get real.
I do know that finding Bitcoin Depot in my neck of the woods has certainly piqued my interest.

Took a quick glance at the machine & noticed a streamer across the bottom of the screen with conversion quotes on various coins
As I was checking out I ask the clerk on the cash register “what’s the deal on tvat bit coin ATM?”

I suspect you are thinking of our every day economy. I read a book by an Argentinian about how things worked when their currency collapsed. 'Barter' becomes a very viable form of commerce and anything of value is tradable. For instance, tools - of all kinds but especially power tools; over the counter meds; special containers . . . use your imagination.
If I had a small piece of gold and went to a 'dealer' and he poo pooed the value and offered little for it, I would wish him a good day and start to leave. My bet is that he would call out to wait and be open to a bit more bargaining.
Even in stores now, I may make an offer on an item to the manager; you would be surprised how often people will bargain.

I agree that silver is the poor man's gold. Both will hold value and be desired for trade. More than that, silver is in much more demand in manufacturing, so much so that some traders believe that silver is far under priced and will not sell the metal.
While gold is under priced, it is not so much demand but that the central banks are forcing the market down so that they can buy gold in huge quantities. That false market is thought to be about to cave in; gold could rise to just about any height. Some say $5,000 an oz, some even say $10,000 an oz.
Silver would not reach such stratospheric heights of course; but percentage wise it could produce even greater growth return, depending on industrial demand.
Then there is the U.S. nickel coin. It has been long determined that the nickel metal in the coin is worth more than the coin as currency. A lot of thought has gone into that specific holding, including enforcing the law against destroying U.S. coinage. (Remember how everyone wished they had hoarded dimes, quarters and halves after 1964?)
Didn’t Obama once mention, that Iran ought to have nuclear weapons - some “balance of power” thing?
