In my early days on FR (started in 2002) I dug deep into Libertarian philosophy. They have gussied up their website and tenets but the original set of beliefs or tenets is pretty seriously unhinged. I wonder if I still have what I copied from then. Checked - no.

1. COMPLETELY open borders.
2. All porn legal and can be posted in public. Founder was okay with child p*rn, under guise of free speech.
3. All drugs totally legal.
4. Legal prostitution

I know there was more but that’s what my feeble memory comes up with. I ran a ping list “Moral Absolutes” for a few years (some may remember this) and libertarians used to argue with me all the time.

A Fight for Our Survival

I can’t take it anymore. I am fully onboard with being fiscally responsible and reducing the deficit, but I feel like many are failing to recognize the severity of the situation.

We are in a fight for our survival.

The Dems use illegal immigration to maintain their power and cheat in elections. Whether it be giving their states more votes in the electoral college by counting illegals in the census, or by illegals voting directly in elections, hence the Dems’ opposition to voter ID.

If we do not solve the immigration problem, the Dems will win every election, we will become a permanent one-party State, and they will not only destroy this country, but the world. Biden and his handlers literally just funded a proxy war with Russia and tried starting WW3, with our tax dollars. And I didn’t even mention the man-made pathogen that shut down the world and killed millions of people…

So while I get it that we need to reduce the deficit, we also have to address the unprecedented invasion of our nation, and the treasonous actors that are embedded within our government.

From this perspective, I say give Trump whatever he needs to finish/secure the wall, and to fund ICE with as many agents as needed to undo the damage the Dems did with their open border policies.

Secure the perimeter, deport the hostile foreign invaders, and prevent the Dems from stealing elections, so we don’t end up with Kamala as president and nuclear war with Russia… After all that is accomplished, THEN we can talk about cutting costs and reducing the deficit.

Priorities.

So for those who haven't read it yet, Darrell Huff wrote a good non-statistician book (titled "How to Lie with Statistics") on how to lie with statistics (and polls, and other trickerations statisticians use). Here is a link to a PDF copy here. Note that there's some drawings that may be offensive (this means you Bigg Redd), but the content is a pretty easy read. Just FYI.

may be peep missing the point of the importance of immigrants to the dems is not necessarily fraudulent voting at the ballot box, but in manipulating the census total population number that includes illegal immigrants in the total apportionment of house seats.

The Tx redistricting may be a result of the 2020 census - not sure on when that has to be completed (I’d assume by 2022, but you never know with govt)
