I believe them.
There are A LOT of coincidences that raise a brow concerning this suicide.
But I think Patel and Bongino have the integrity and are not invested in this issue to where they would be part of any sort of cover up.
At least for me, based on pure trust for these two men, I would believe what they claim.
Note to Patel and Bongino: if you want the public trust, your integrity is all you have. Fake integrity does not work. You can’t fake it in this case. Don’t be a Comey, no one believed a word out of that man’s mouth, not even the Democrats he was aligned with.
I have zero trust in anybody.
It has served me well in life.
I am always pleasantly surprised when somebody proves my suspicion is misplaced.
I think they are agency first swamp rats. Not as swampy as their predecessors but neither have the inclination to do what is necessary and shine a light on all the malfeasance and criminality. To do so would mean the entire agency would have to be cut out and cauterized and many agents would see prison.
Neither Patel nor Bongino are willing to do that to their beloved agency.
My belief has been that Epstein killed himself and I consider this confirmation. I agree that Kash and Bongino are straight shooters. I do see why people have doubts, though.
I trust Bongino and Patel, if they believe he killed himself I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I'm much more concerned that there's no information forthcoming about information in the possession of the government about what Epstein was doing, and for who.
I'm not really interested in flight logs (lots of flights were done as part of his business) or in porn videos.
But the big picture is what we need to know about. It says a lot that Ghislaine Maxwell has managed (as far as we know) to keep her mouth shut and is serving her time like a good soldier.
