I have zero trust in anybody.
It has served me well in life.
I am always pleasantly surprised when somebody proves my suspicion is misplaced.
In general I agree.
But there are situations where we do trust people.
Maybe you trust a pastor or priest to give you an accurate understanding of the Bible, your financial advisor to guide you right on your investments, an attorney, doctor, spouse.
Who we choose to trust, to what degree and regards what topic, is of course the critical question.
Should we trust these two guys regards Epstein’s death?
I say yes, maybe you say no. I understand.
I simply “believe” that they are smart enough to realize that the trust people put in them is very important, that violating this trust will cause them to become less effective in their role. If in their shoes, I would be anal regards the completeness and accuracy in my communications with the public. My staff would hate me.
