Um, pass.

In 1999, Japanese fraud investigators accused Armstrong of collecting money from Japanese investors, improperly commingling these funds with funds from other investors, and using the fresh money to cover losses he had incurred while trading.[13] United States prosecutors called it a three-billion-dollar Ponzi scheme.[14] Allegedly assisting Armstrong in his scheme was the Republic New York Corporation, which produced false account statements to reassure Armstrong’s investors. In 2001, the bank agreed to pay US$606 million as restitution for its part in the scandal.[14]

Armstrong was indicted in 1999 and ordered by Judge Richard Owen to turn over fifteen million dollars in gold bars and antiquities bought with the fund’s money; the list included bronze helmets and a bust of Julius Caesar.[15][16] Armstrong produced some of the items but claimed the others were not in his possession; this led to several contempt of court charges brought by the SEC and the CFTC, for which he served seven years in jail until he reached a plea bargain with federal prosecutors.[17][18][19] Under the terms of the agreement, Armstrong admitted to deceiving corporate investors and improperly commingling client funds—actions that according to prosecutors resulted in commodities losses of more than seven hundred million dollars—and was sentenced to five years in prison.[20][15]

He was released from federal custody on 2 September 2011 after serving a total of eleven years behind bars.

It doesn't appear it would be a great loss if they did just disappear.

“His Socrates super computer nails it, again.”

ROTFLOL!

‘Superforecaster’ says World War III is about to begin and US will ‘collapse by 2032’

PUBLISHED: 11:36 EDT, 19 October 2024 | UPDATED: 11:36 EDT, 19 October 2024 [UK Daily Mail]

Armstrong created the AI program out of a desire to write software that could automate hedge fund trading back in the 1970s and ‘80s.

[so good ol’ convicted felon armstrong had AI 50 years before everyone else!]

thanks for the laugh!

West goes to Poland, east to Russia (which it had voted to join a decade ago).

What’s left?

The “Cossack Nation” will need to find other territory.

This is so typical of the people here who are wedded to Russia and Putin.
You don’t have opinions, you keep telling everyone what must happen.
For years we had to be subjected to the iron clad guarantee that Ukraine would be “obliterated”in two weeks.
Interestingly, when you aren’t busy insisting that Ukraine will soon no longer exist, you compensate for the obvious shit show of Russia spending over three years fighting Ukraine - by enlightening all us fools that russia never wanted to win, has already won, didn’t want Ukraine, and has this super special “slow” way of fighting that we can’t understand. Apparently because the brilliance of spending four years dying in Ukraine is beyond our meager mental abilities.

Whatever. The Russia worship long ago became tiresome.

"In this shocking interview, Martin Armstrong delivers what may be the most important forecast of his career: Ukraine will disappear. His Socrates super computer nails it, again. "

ROTFLMAO!

---------

Failed to predict his three bankrupsies.

Failed to predict his losing $700 million of his clients’funds.

Failed to predict he would spend eleven years in the federal pen.

In 2014 predicted gold would soar to $5,000 in 2015.

In 2014 predicted that there would be a world financial collapse would occur in 2015. July 2024 predicted US cIvil unrest/WAR to happen just before the 2024 elections.

November 2024 he predicted a US civil war would happen the week of Trump’s inauguration with the US breaking up into four new countries in 2026.

December 2024 he said via Socrates that the 2024 elections would be the last in the US.

January 2025 he predicted US civil unrest on May 7, 2025.

"Armstrong’s model has never been wrong about direction "

If my Socrates was always right, I wouldn't have lost over $700,000,000 of my clients' funds in bad currency trades and landed in jail for securities fraud after my ponzi scheme collapsed.

“and it’s never issued a warning like this before.”

Socrates stinks.

It predicted that we would have a collapse of the world’s financial systems in 2015.

Per Socrates, the U.S. would be in the 4th month of a civil war.

I used to be a big fan. Until I started taking screenshots of his forecasts and saving them. I’d go back months later and find that time after time after time, he was dead wrong. Terribly wrong. In fact, I’ve only found one or two instances where he was ever right. He TELLS you he’s right but when you start tracking his statements like I did, it absolutely proves otherwise.

AI forecasting system? This AI system is merely doing what it’s programmed to do. If its programmed to think in a biased fashion in certain areas, then that’s what it will do. Garbage in, garbage out. PERIOD.

If they can get AI to think and learn like Spock on Star Trek, being void of emotion and illogical opinions, then AI will be a very good tool.

IMO, Ukraine will not disappear. There will be a peace accord if the Ukes can get rid of their little Hitler.

He has been looking into this crystal ball for decades. And yet now “it’s AI”?

It’s bad enough following this guy like some cult leader…but giving his “dues ex machina” credit is just creepy.
