He is the highest-profile figure to face accusations in French cinema’s response to the #MeToo movement.

In America, a lot of young men have stopped approaching women entirely. More than that, they have given up on dating and have no intention of having a partner. Many single men have discovered that a life of peace and tranquility can be had easily, if the drama of relationships is removed.

Of course, for the US, this will result in a dramatic demographic shift as Gen Z fails to reproduce very much. France may go through a similar evolution in the dating scene -- but they have plenty of Muslim, so future reproduction probably won't be a problem. The next generation just won't be French.

Women think they’re competing against other women, not realizing they’re competing against a man’s peace and quiet. They’re losing badly.

When men look for women online or in bars and feel entitled to sex without commitment, they get what they deserve.

Life gives no guarantees; but when men prepare themselves mentally and spiritually for marriage and fatherhood, attend religious services and classes, court women instead of hooking up, and put their own lives in order from youth onward (such as avoiding substance abuse and porn, achieving good credit, and saving for a future down payment), their chances improve remarkably.

You can have what you want in life if you are willing to do the work.
