Erythritol has been phased out of some low carb items, already, in favor of allulose, which is another natural sugar.

Allulose is all the rage in Korea and Korean food companies are already implementing… according to one YouTube personality I follow.

My friend’s naturopath says the only good sweetener is “Sweet Leaf”. Tiny packages. Each on has enough for one or two cups of coffee. Available here at Natural Grocers and of course on AMZ

Saccharin has been around for 150 years and is proven safe.

Not nearly as bad as aspartame.

    I use stevia.
Just a tiny bit will do.

Same here, only liquid stevia. The powdered form is a stevia and eriterol combination

Most, but not all. Stevia Select is a powdered 100% Stevia product. Expensive, but EXTREMELY concentrated. We have used it for years.

I wonder just how much erythritol they used to treat the cell samples, and over how long a period.

Until Allulose can be profitable…expect it to remain heavily under the radar.

I like sucralose because it most closely tastes like sugar.

Stevia. If they find a way to synthesize it, it would dominate the artificial sweetener market. All sources of it currently are organic, and that means $$$$.

Allulose is a laxative if you consume a lot of it.

So is maltitol, a sugar alcohol used in sugar free candies. Such as gummy bears. They taste just like real sugar gummy bears but have the side effect of, well, read for yourself.

I like different products but like all things moderation is needed.
Stevia leaf is excellent but doesn’t serve well in all cooking jobs.
Xylitol is another I like. It’s so good sprinkled on berries and such and is a natural sugar extracted from fruits and plants.
Then IMO for some recipes you just can’t beat gold old cane sugar for flavor

I made the mistake of not believing the rumors of those sugar-free gummy bears and trying them out. (I don’t even like gummy bears)
I learned that the warnings from other victims were grossly understated!
My best description is EXPLOSIVE and UNCONTROLLABLE..... (oh, and SUPER FAST ACTING)
