SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A woman reportedly tried to run over six elementary-aged kids following an altercation between her child and other children.
On April 29, at 8 p.m., the Shreveport Police Department responded a report from a parent stating that her children were nearly struck by a vehicle near Pine Grove Elementary. Upon arrival, officers learned that an adult woman drove up in a separate vehicle and allowed juveniles to exit with the intent of fighting the complainant’s children.
As the children went to flee, the suspect woman allegedly attempted to run them over with her vehicle.
A patrol officer, who is assigned to Pine Grove Elementary, reviewed surveillance footage and was able to identify the suspect as Lejonkica Sharp. During the investigation, Sharp initially claimed that a group of children was throwing rocks at her car and denied that she attempted to harm anyone.
According to SPD, security footage clearly shows Sharp deliberately attempting to strike six elementary-aged students with her car after one of her children was involved in a fight with another student.
On May 1, at 7 p.m., officers located and arrested Sharp. She has been charged with six counts of aggravated assault.

It’s them again, Yogi.
Ahh. You've been to Times Square, huh?
I dated some of them and married a couple of them.
We had a WHITE man from Shreveport work at our company. Raised in that area he saw no racism and said the blacks simply wanted the same as others and there was no difference between them.
After several years in our area he got married and took his wife to visit his family still in Shreveport. He came back a changed man.
In a private conversation, (I won’t say what happened) he simply said “Man! They really ARE DIFFERENT!”
What is it with some people?
Some people have poor impulse control. , Some people don’t have logical thought processes. Some people do not think through the consequences of actions, and then they find themselves in trouble . It would be so predictable to have told her, if you’re running over kids with your car, you’re going to be in a heap of trouble. Don’t do it.
But she does it anyway. She was so pissed off that she was blinded by her desire to hurt others.
When you look up Lejonkica in the dictionary, that’s the picture you see.
Click. Yup.
Sometimes alphabet soup just gives you a bad spoonful of letters to use to name your baby.
I’m pretty sure my mom contemplated running me over with the family station wagon.;-)
I went to law school for one year back in the ‘80s. The Professor was discussing intent.
The example he gave was whether driving a car over a crowded elementary school playground was attempted murder.
In his description, he described the hypothetical driver as saying “I didn’t want to kill them. I just wanted to watch them scatter!”
I thought at the time . . . “What a ridiculous hypothetical!” Strange times.
I hollered over, I said, “Don’t look, Ethel!”
Too late, she dropped the whole jar
No wonder they have such good football and track!
No wonder they have such good football and track!
“And now for my next impression.......Jesse Owens!”
There’s a good chance that he was raised there pre-Obama, than visited with his wife post-Obama. The destruction of race relations Obama facilitated and promoted really did drag America into a sewer in that regard.
“We had a WHITE man from Shreveport work at our company. Raised in that area he saw no racism and said the blacks simply wanted the same as others and there was no difference between them.”
It used to be this way until BARACK OBAMA and his fat, ugly, America -hating wife came into office.
You wo7ld think after all this time they would assimilate more but so many do not..thankfully there are many that do.
Second clue: Weird first name.
Spot-on.
