5 Def Leppard

Good list, the worst british band has to be Herman's Hermits, and it is personal, some 25 years ago they stayed and performed at a hotel where I worked at and Peter Noone was a total a-hole.

Not saying they’re the greatest, but my favorite British band is XTC. In fact, I hope one day to make a pilgrammage to Swindon, much like Beatles fans go to Liverpool.

Cream, Deep Purple, Yes, King Crimson, Queen, Genesis, Moody Blues. I could list at least a dozen more that were better than the Beatles or the Stones.

Lists like this serve only as clickbait and excuse to argue about silly things. A waste of time.

Now that I got that out of the way, Floyd, Radiohead and Sabbath belong in there. Def Leppard, most assuredly, does not.
