There's road rage, and then there's whatever this is:

UNBELIEVABLE VIDEO AT LINK................
Video out of Beaverton, Oregon, on Highway 26 -- about seven miles west of Portland. It happened at 6:15 a.m. on Monday.
Police had been looking for this driver and finally found him.
Man, I hope that motorcyclist recovers quickly. And I sure hope he gets a new bike out of this.
Here's what the Kia van looked like when police came to check it out following that tip:
Here's the mugshot:
You seriously hate to see stuff like this; it's why when you're out on the road it is simply NOT WORTH IT to get into an altercation with another driver.
Enjoy your time driving without robots while you still have the chance!
4 wheels move the body
2 wheels move the soul.
Thank God someone’s dash cam caught that.
Charge the driver with attempted murder.
Well, Pazzotto in Italian means crazy guy, so the name fits... and it’s probably a family name, so it’s in the genes.
Truck driver......................
“2 wheels move the soul.”
Heard that, and for anyone who needs it explained.....you wouldn’t understand anyway.
Unfortunately, far too often, riders are left with only a soul after a stupid move by a 4 wheeler.

I hear ya. I sold my bike several years ago but when I had it and worked in Tennessee, I found a little road, maybe a lane and a half (basically a farmers road) and would cruise it doing maybe 50 mph.
I could look around, enjoy the ride without worrying about other cars, trucks, bikes etc.
The road ran alongside a river for about a mile and I’d stop, and sit under a tree for 45 mins or so. VERY spiritual, soul soothing and peaceful. Never had a car, truck bike etc. come by while I was sitting there.
Moves the soul is pure understatement..
Loud pipes destroy hearing.

While loud pipes might get a car driver’s attention, if the motorcycle is already too close, the driver may not have time to react safely.
= = =
If the driver is surprised by close, loud sound, he may react the wrong way - into the biker’s path instead of out of it.
Especially if lane splitting.
I’d like to blame it on my antique eye sight.
However, it’s just an unfortunate and hasty way of expressing my anger.
I was a lifelong motorcycle rider. Until one minor motorcycle accident caused by a cellphone distracted driver and a vehicle accident caused by someone running a red light that would have killed me had I been on the motorcycle that day.
Hung up my helmet that day. The hostility and dangerous driving practices today are disturbing. There’s always been jerks on the road. But it seems that it has become the norm rather than the exception these days.
When a 130 dB bike I did not spot in the rear view mirror roars past me I about jump out of my skin. I get so startled it’s likely to CAUSE a crash.
Sickening.
Depraved indifference to someone's safety like displayed in this video should bring a mandatory prison sentence. At the least he should be charged with attempted murder. The rider should get his ass kicked for being stupid and getting into it in the first place.
Would be interesting to see what led up to that.
I feel safe in saying he would “never” do something like that. Likely he would never be seen yelling at a driver who did something wrong like that either.
Situational awareness matters more than loud pipes. Being ready for dumb cagers to do something without looking is key.
If I were being harassed by an angry biker and saw him reach for his saddle-bag I would assume he was going for a weapon and might do the same thing.
Started out with the biker flipping off the driver. Shows that two wheels versus 4 wheels always lose in a confrontation. In my long ago biking days I never flipped off a driver because I knew what he could do to me if he wanted. Indeed, the closest I came to it was standing up on the pegs when my rear end was hurting from having sat on the seat too long. Each time I was afraid that the driver behind me might think I was making an obscene gesture with my rear end that I wasn’t.
Except when you can't hear a fire truck or ambulance coming because you got your helmet on, your stereo is blasting and your pipes are so F'n loud......
