Internet sleuths have already discovered the stunning truth behind a 'UFO' image shared on Capitol Hill yesterday by a Pentagon whistleblower.
Former military intelligence official Luis Elizondo spoke before Congress Thursday morning, revealing a never-before-seen image of a cruise ship–sized craft he claimed was spotted hovering 21,000 feet in the air over the western US.
The image quickly flooded social media and was debunked in less than 24 hours.
Users analyzed the photo and located the object, discovering it was actually a snapshot of two irrigation circles in rural Colorado.
Mick West, a British-American science writer and conspiracy theory investigator, wrote on X: 'This UFO photo shows two irrigation circles.
'The roads are perfectly aligned, and the 'shadow' is in the wrong direction.'
West also noted that this isn't the first time Elizondo, who led the Pentagon's program investigating UFO sightings for 10 years, has made a major UFO blunder.
One glaring mistake involved a high-resolution image of a supposed 'mothership' in 2022, which appeared to be piercing through clouds over Romania. It was later debunked as the window reflection of an indoor chandelier lamp.

Prolly a distant ancestor. You owe me a Brawndo.
It’s what FReepers crave.
Old video discussing the technology of the Saturn V.
New systems are in use by the Artemis.
I joke about Greer that he has an ego the size of Jupiter.
“I met with X”
“I briefed Y”
“I found whistleblower Z”
for thirty years....
Here is a very old article (1994) about Greer:
https://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-adventure/alien-brothers-come-down/
Reminds me of 1965 NY Blackout. Blamed on UFOs and a book INCIDENT AT EXETER was written about it.
Found to be a relay that blew on the power lines putting several states in the dark.
One interesting thing, there was no rioting or looting during the blackout in 1965, and a baby boom took place nine months later.
The man did some astonishingly solid data collection on UFO incidents, then parlayed that database into a very successful scam operation. He charged customers thousands of dollars to contact the UFO operators. using the "CE5" protocols through "intention, meditation, and collective efforts."
Bravo! As P.T Barnum said, "there is a sucker born every minute".
And some people just have too much money. It is morally imperative to relieve them of that burden if they are willing to pay. Greer did put on some good shows and had plenty of satisfied customers who thought they had done something important.
Note that I believe many UFOs are of non-human origin. I don't believe the Operators have any interest in contacting humans other than taking a few isolated samples for research. At best, they are rangers in a wildlife preserve with an interest in making sure the exhibits are clean and safe for their tourists to gawk at us.
Btw Greer is still charging people thousands of dollars to do CE5—on cruises these days.
One Reddit source claims it can cost anywhere from 5K to 10K to go on these cruises with Greer.
Yes. Pettit, who I admire greatly somewhat misstated the situation. We didn't "destroy the technology", our engineering and manufacturing base moved on to things people wanted to buy.
Manufacturing is a temporary proposition, in all circumstances.
It is true we no longer have the factories and factory workers and engineers who were experienced building and debugging the Saturn V / Apollo spacecraft system we had in the 1960s.
It is ALSO true we no longer have the factories and factory workers and engineers who were experienced building and debugging the beautiful 2nd-generation Corvette we had in the 1960s.
In both cases, it's because we've moved on from them. The Saturn V / Apollo system was shelved, because we no longer wanted to go to the moon. The 2nd-generation Corvette was shelved for the 3rd-generation Corvette. And standing up new contractors to manufacture again exactly the 1960s versions would be a hard and useless exercise.
It is really simple:
If we're talking about shielding for re-entry, the Apollo Command Module used "AVCOAT", 3000 pounds of it.
The current (?) Orion lunar capsule also uses AVCOAT, a different formulation. Since Orion is supposed to be partially re-usable, it is constructed differently.
Orion is having problems with its heat shield - but this is due to:
1. The fact that Orion is bigger and heavier than Apollo, it generates a lot more heat upon re-entry from lunar orbit, and
2. The way the AVCOAT is attached to Orion is different than in Apollo, to enable re-use.
To be honest, NASA is being mighty cagey about this whole issue. Not good.
If we're talking about shielding for radiation, we still have the good old ways Apollo did it:
1. Launching missions during periods of low solar flare activity;
2. Avoiding the most intense parts of the Van Allen belts, and quickly traversing that which can't be avoided;
3. If we have to, use as much water shielding that the weight budgets allow;
New hydrogen-dense materials - paraffin-like - are being developed for better radiation shielding.
The truth is, Apollo missions were SHORT. The planned new lunar missions will be LONG. Radiation dosage increases with exposure time. We'll need to spend money and launch weight on better radiation shielding if we are to spend extended time outside of LEO.
(That's way more time spent on this subject than I wanted to. I just hate crackpots.
Oops.
Boner.
Oops.
“...just give us a couple hundred billion dollars, and we’ll get to the bottom of this...”
The Apollo missions were launched at 75 degrees relative to the equator, placing the trajectory northward. The craft then passed through the hole in the doughnut-shaped Van Allen belts. Apollo then passed through the outer fringe of the belt for only ten minutes.
The Apollo capsule is made of 3/8" aircraft aluminum with 1/8" of ceramic over than. Radiation dosage depends upon field strength, exposure time, and shielding. The astronauts were subjected to the equivalent of a single chest X-ray when the left the earth.
If you do even a modest amount of research, you would find that all went well with Apollo. There is even an article by Dr. Van Allen regarding this.
Monster BS of high stinkyness! The design of the Apollo capsule is well documented and retained in multiple places. Even I have a copy of a lot of that material. The capsule was made of 3/8" aircraft aluminum with 1/8" ceramic over that.
Greer also charged people money to go stand out in the beach around Vero while he contacted the aliens through Ce5. A couple of guys found his set up using FlightAware - even the plane he had rented to drop flares.
People today still believe he was legit.
My favorite Greer claim—which he has made for decades and still makes to this day—is that he was offered two billion dollars by .gov to shut up about UFOs.
Needless to say he has zero evidence to support his claim.
If you can’t be bothered to give a summary of the video you want me to watch, I’m not going to bother watching it.
It was possible, it did happen. That young’un needs to do more research.
