IIRC no, he asked for this some time back and it was refused by everyone from California to the feds.
He’s a private citizen. Let him apply for a concealed carry permit, learn to shoot and live like regular people since he chose to dumpster dive… ahem, take a dive into the bottom of America’s cultural cesspool… ahem, you get the drift ; he blew off a nice, cushy royal family lifestyle for the attentions of a money-grubbing borderline personality-disordered attention whoore (an homage to soon-to-be blaster-fenestrated bad guy in Cowboys and Aliens as well as an attempt to sneak something past this site’s somewhat Puritanical moderators).

Yes. Getting the special UK security is part of a bigger game where (through treaty) other countries have to provide security for VIPs. It is hard for him to make the case that he is a VIP without the UK security.
