I always use just a pinch of salt in anything and let my guest add salt as they desire.
I used make homemade soup more on the salty-side, but since Mom With Hope turned me on to 'Vegeta' seasoning, that takes care of the soup issue for me. LOVE the stuff.

Vegeta, I think I can find it in a local store without having to send off to Milwaukee or Racine!
