...one drop...equal to 20 milliliters... No, one drop of water is about .05 milliliters. Drop size varies with the solution due to viscosity and surface tension.

No doubt. I bet the material of the dropper matters as well.
Like you, its been 50 years. I looked it up. I seem to recall you have to form the drops slowly as well.
