Josiah was a ‘good’ king, but he refused to let Pharaoh pass thru.

Even when Pharaoh told Josiah that Josiah’s own God had told him to go and smite the Assyrians, Josiah said no.

Josiah’s 4th eldest son who became king was deposed and taken back to Egypt and essentially disappeared from history..........

"Josiah was a ‘good’ king,"

Just finished reading 1 and 2 Kings - Josiah surely did what was right in the eyes of God and led his nation in repentance and to turn back to serving God.

BUT, verse 23:26 says, "Nevertheless the Lord did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath, with which His anger was aroused against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him." [Including massive child sacrifice].

Food for thought - even though America is surely trying to pull away from pagan worship under Trump, at some point God's wrath will not be turned and we too will be judged.
