This season (2023), Shedeur Sanders has been sacked 45 times by opposing defenses. He was sacked 35 times in his freshman season with Jackson State. This doesn't have anything to do with his NFL prospects, right? Teams don't care about how long the quarterback holds the ball or how many times he's sacked, right?

I heard on a draft radio show that Sanders didn't have much zip on his throws in the combine. That dropped him down the list.
