I do think Shadeur can be a decent NFL quarterback, but teams just don’t want the drama that will come with him, thinking Deion will be the ultimate “helicopter parent”.

My take is high ranking NFL QBs have to be able to stay in the pocket and take the occasional nasty hit for doing so. I know nothing about Sander’s career at UC, but evidently the scouts see potential flaws with his game. Joe Montana went in the third round and proceeded to smash a lot of records at the time.
