And I strongly recommend both you and your favorite Deep Stater read it...
Not a RINO, but he is starting to look a lot more like his dad.
I often admire Rand for his principled positions, and maybe he is saying the things he is saying just to lodge a symbolic arguement, but on this I agree with Trump. It’s not hard to once you see what is blatantly going on. Raising the tarrifs give us leverage to negotiate new (and more fair) trade deals. That process has already been manifest en mase
Anybody with that label loses all credibility.
From FR, a succinct and concise summary of libertarian insanity:
1) Freedom to murder the unborn. (Women’s “Liberation.” Liberation = Liberty = Libertarian.)
2) Freedom of access to all narcotics, including marijuana; vending machine drugs. (More faux “liberty.”)
3) Freedom of all sexual perversion. Legalized (liberated) prostitution, liberated homosexuality, lesbian, etc. By extension and ultimately, pedophilia and beastiality. That’s logic 101.
4)Freedom to pass across borders without paperwork (open borders). I.e., unfettered illegal immigration (which is what we have now).
The list of libertarian insanity goes on, but that's enough to show they have no business a) in American politics or b) on FR. And Rand Paul is nuts.
He IS a RINO.
He is a LIBERTARIAN, which is NOT a Republican, so, spare us your BS.
Dear Mr. Rand, aren’t you part of the government “that should be doing that job”?
Y’all haven’t, so the president will!
Rand likes the Tariffs on us.
No Rand is a Globalist open borders puppet .
Go Rand! He’s about the only senator I trust these days.
Rand must be on the take form the CCP. He needs to be investigated.
Congress SHOULD do something but they do nothing . As far as taxation goes Tariffs seem the most libertarian since the individual chooses to pay for it by purchasing foreign products
Paul is globalist TDS maggot and a stooge.
I think politicians are constantly testing the water while trying to seem relevant and important. They have to stay on the stage and attract a certain amount of attention so they seem on the level of those whose jobs they may have ambitions to occupy. The many players create a frothy background noise. It’s up to us to decide what is important and who to listen to. At this point, it’s not Rand.
What will ultimately decide who wins is how the economy goes. If living gets cheaper and easier, it matters not what anyone says. If the nation runs into hard times, whoever is in charge, regardless of their culpability, will take the fall. All else is noise.
Writing a workable budget for another. I could go on...
Paul needs to stick to Medical Issues.
He did a great job on Fauci.
Maybe Rand should just STFU! Fed up with him trying to be relevant.
Man... The level of radical extremism is off the charts in this one... You didn’t follow in lockstep so you are being stoned and burned at the stake here. The purist hate is strong...
But with that said I think Rand is wrong with this one. His intentions to be a fiscal conservative and free trade are well meant, but he is not looking far enough down the road with true cause and effect.
First he is not taking into account that the other countries ARE NOT practicing free trade with us in the first place. His argument would be sound if they were, but they are not. The tariffs are only leveling the field and reclaiming back some of what the other countries are already charging us.
I honestly hope Trump’s plan does not work. The best thing that could happen to this country is to crash and force a kicking over of the money changer’s tables... It is inevitable anyhow when operate on a credit economy. Sooner or later it fails anyhow so let’s get it over with and folks might respect cash on the barrel head once again rather than spend money they actually do not have.
Respond just like I showed you.
