Predictable commute + garage charger + owning a second gas powered car = electric success. I have a co-worker that lives far from work who claims he saves about $250 a month in gas since he bought a Tesla. Electric motors are superior to gasoline engines for vehicles but the refueling is not yet practical for several critical situations. There are many, myself included, for whom electric makes sense, it was only a problem when the gov tried to ram them down everyone else’s throat.

What happens when the Tesla battery dies? I understand those are expensive to replace. But may be those last 10 years. I just do not know.

Off subject, I loved my battery powered golf cart I owned for many years.

Unless, like me, you live 60 feet above sea level in an area prone to hurricanes. But otherwise, I agree. If we lived in Dallas rather than Houston, we might consider one.

I told my wife I’d like to buy a Cyber Truck, and she said, “No it looks like the Batmobile!” I reminded her that our oldest daughter is named Robin. So maybe I should have a Batmobile”. She was not amused.
