Harvard academics have warned they will be forced to euthanize animals used for medical research because of Donald Trump’s $2.2 billion funding freeze.
They will also be forced to fire workers, and withdraw critical funding for cancer and ALS patients, CNN reported.

I helped lead a tour of the UC Davis Veterinary School long long ago. The term metabolic chamber was foreign to me. Wow, lots of justifications and explanations but wow. Not for me. It forever changed my opinion of certain science majors like Fauci. They dabble in torture for the sake of money.

They would have been required to kill them anyway - once an animal enter a lab, it MUST be killed and burned. All level 3/4 biolabs have the same protocol. Not Trumps fault - it would have been done under a Democrat too.

A google search will confirm that it’s the generally accepted practice to euthanize animals used in research after the study is completed.
