Why did I know Fort McCoy had to be in Wisconsin?

I always heard it referred to as Camp McCoy, and I thought all of the exit signs on I-94 called it Camp McCoy. Of course, it’s been a while since I have driven that way.

It always was and is a shithole. German POW camp in WW2. I spent 2 years there in one 2 week reserve tour of duty in the early 70’s.
