No matter what diet diet...weight goes up and down and it’s all about calories and exercise.
I don’t believe that. People have different endocrine systems and metabolisms. Some are much more sensitive to carbohydrates and process them very differently than others do. (We all know people who can eat whatever they want and remain rail thin; and others who gain weight very easily.)
Another benefit of the low-carb/keto diets is that after a while, they suppress appetite; they seem to do this by their action on insulin resistance.
