Barack Obama was working against Kamala Harris behind the 2024 scenes — didn’t think she could win: new book

Former President Barack Obama reportedly advocated against Democrats nominating Vice President Kamala Harris in the wake of President Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 presidential election — because Obama didn’t think Harris could win, according to an upcoming book.

The 44th president reportedly argued for an open convention rather than anointing Harris as the nominee after Biden’s shocking drop-out, despite her having support from other Democrats, according to reporter Jonathan Allen, co-author of “FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House.”

“President Obama absolutely did not think that Joe Biden should continue, according to our sources close to President Obama and he also didn’t want Kamala Harris to be the replacement for Biden,” Allen said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Tuesday.

“He didn’t think that she was the best choice for Democrats, and he worked really behind the scenes for a long time to try to have a mini-primary, or an open convention, or a mini-primary leading to an open convention. [He] did not have faith in her ability to win the election,” Allen said.

“He was really working against her,” he emphasized.

Allen further revealed that on a phone call with the veep on the very day Biden “passed the baton” to Harris, Obama refused to endorse her candidacy as the nominee.

Obama’s reticence was apparently known among other Democratic power players.

I want to know who pushed for the debate before the nomination.

Remember that when Obama became a state senator his wife was suddenly given a massive raise, and this below also predates his presidency, the whole moving to Chicago to join the big time Democratic political machine was his first major step into great wealth.

******************************EXCERPTS**************************

A British-Iraqi billionaire lent millions of dollars to Barack Obama’s fundraiser just weeks before an imprudent land deal that has returned to haunt the presidential contender, an investigation by The Times discloses.

The money transfer raises the question of whether funds from Nadhmi Auchi, one of Britain’s wealthiest men, helped Mr Obama buy his mock Georgian mansion in Chicago.

A company related to Mr Auchi, who has a conviction for corruption in France, registered the loan to Mr Obama’s bagman Antoin “Tony” Rezko on May 23 2005. Mr Auchi says the loan, through the Panamanian company Fintrade Services SA, was for $3.5 million.

Three weeks later, Mr Obama bought a house on the city’s South Side while Mr Rezko’s wife bought the garden plot next door from the same seller on the same day, June 15.

Mr Obama says he never used Mrs Rezko’s still-empty lot, which could only be accessed through his property. But he admits he paid his gardener to mow the lawn.

Mrs Rezko, whose husband was widely known to be under investigation at the time, went on to sell a 10-foot strip of her property to Mr Obama seven months later so he could enjoy a bigger garden.

Mr Obama now admits his involvement in this land deal was a “boneheaded mistake”.

Mrs Rezko’s purchase and sale of the land to Mr Obama raises many unanswered questions.

It is unclear how Mrs Rezko could have afforded the downpayment of $125,000 and a $500,000 mortgage for the original $625,000 purchase of the garden plot at 5050 South Greenwood Ave.

In a sworn statement a year later, Mrs Rezko said she got by on a salary of $37,000 and had $35,000 assets. Mr Rezko told a court he had “no income, negative cash flow, no liquid assets, no unencumbered assets [and] is significantly in arrears on many of his obligations.”

Mrs Rezko, whose husband goes on trial on unrelated corruption charges in Chicago on March 3, refused to answer questions about the case when she spoke by telephone to The Times.

The smell of BULLSHIT overwhelms this article. Trying to make Obama look good. My takeaway, IF Obama knew all this why did he LIE during the campaign. Please check the tape. He was EFFUSIVE in his praise of Harris.

GFYBO and Jonathan Allen a hopelessly biased reporter.

It looks to me like Primatela Jayapala is trying to make a move on the outside with her “Indian Resistance Academy” (IRA) using all the tricks the cowards were afraid to use against their own corrupt government in their own country.

I’m not sure it is a mystery. He and Michelle received $60 Million for their book deals. That paid for the Martha’s Vineyard, Oahu, and Georgetown houses.
Plus they got the Netflix deal.
Barack gets $400K or more just to make a commencement speech.

Plus, they started a charity(AKA Clinton’s) to expense all the “charity” trips/functions too. Like when you need to fly across the world on a private jet.

Not news. No one wanted her for Vice President. They were trying to get her replaced before Joe dropped out. She was a drag on the ticket.

As a Presidential candidate, no one really thought she could win. The media gave it their best and she still got almost 50% of the vote, proving the democrats will vote for vegetables.

Joe endorsed her 1 hour later. How much time did Obama need to make his wishes known?

I still think Biden endorsing Kamala was a big FU to the party for pressuring him out.

Just like Bill was rumored to be doing to Hillary behind the scenes when she ran for president. Lefites say they are the party of women, but between pro-abortion and undercutting, clearly they are not.

Hugh Hewitt had the writers on yesterday, and apparently this book is chock full of dirt on the dems. I’m hoping stories trickle out day after day... one they only alluded to is about Biden starting the days with a make-up artist... everybody knew he was a walking vegetable. I might even spring for a copy off the presses, although I usually wait to find bargains on eBay...

Maybe his son and probably Jill… I wonder if that’s why Garland suddenly decided he could go after Hunter, because Obama gave the green light.

“When Jill found out the Golden Life was ending. . .she struck back. Which is why Biden named Kamalalladingdong as his successor. . .”

Queen Jill aced out Obama. Given her age, given that Obama picked Hillary is 2016, I bet she thought all kinds of nasty racist sh_t about the Kenyan.
