So the AI has been inducted into the service of the middle eastern death cult. The AI did not decide this on its own. The development team inserted code to manually override any unbiased decision that the AI was going to make.

The definition of AI is that it convincingly mimics human responses. Technically "the Turing test" -- acts human through what we would call a text interface (as originally proposed it was to be a printing terminal).
That's it. Not a reliable oracle, not good and true and courageous. Just does it pass.
Whether MS Tay the racist stoner or this thing, they now can pass.
Don't expect more from AI than that it answers like some human might.

Same for Jesus, Moses, Buddha, or any religious figure prior to modern painting and photography.
