In the runnup to Trump winning the 2024 election, he gave a speech in which he paused to identify what he called were the 'real Generals'. He distinguished them from Biden's Generals. The way he said it caught my interest - wondering if it was comms. Wuz Q there? :)
So Trump told us there are multiple real generals loyal to Trump. There are, as you point out, what I call 'window dressing' Generals but they are being purged. Trump won't rely on any General his 'real Generals' don't trust.
Flynn has been so active, on social media and public speaking ect., ever since Trump left office, that he couldn't simultaneously hold an important military role with Q.
I believe if Flynn were part of the planning committe or privy to the Q plan in a military capacity, he would remain in Trump's inner circle or would already be part of Trump's 2.0 mil.

According to his Wikipedia entry, Flynn was head of DNI July 24 , 2012 – August 7, 2014. I was curious to know who came before him, and who served after him, so I checked the Wiki for DNI (excerpt below)

I can't find a source listing Flynn as a head of DNI, but based on the dates of service of Flynn's Wiki entry, he would have served in the middle of Clapper's (Wiki) dates of service, which are listed as August 9, 2010 – January 20, 2017.
Flynn's Wiki listing needs cleaning up. His Wiki says he was the 18th director of DNI, but the office only existed since 2004 and there have been 6 DNI's since then.
He became the 18th director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in July 2012 until his forced retirement from the military in August 2014.[6][7][8]
Regardless of the data entry issues, Flynnn was only DNI for 2 years, possibly with Clapper serving before and after him, and 2 years is long enough to 'know where the bodies are buried,' but I don't think that is signficant service to propel one to Q team status.
As to his spiritual faith, I cannot say. But I personally find the link I provided accurately demonstrate that Flynn read Clare Prophet's poem.

I’m happy about it. It’s much worse to make a post that people share and then find out it was 100% fake or wrong. Feathers in the wind. Once bad information is out there, it’s impossible to correct all of it once it starts to travel.
Of course it is. Current Senator John Hickenlooper was the Mayor of Denver and his big program for the homeless was "The road home" and wasted tons of money providing housing. The homeless stripped all the copper wire and plumbing. He went on to be governor and a new mayor tweaked it a little and continued wasting tons of money. Now Denver has another mayor who has given it a different name and has plans to continue to waste tons of money. Of course Hick and the others are never held accountable for their failures they just double down.
