Hegseth "Controversy" Presents A Golden Window of Opportunity To Smash Leftist Alinsky Onslaught
General Flynn's Substack ^ | 30 Mar, 2025 | Christopher G. Adamo

As leftist Democrats seek to escalate their phony hysteria over Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and the supposed "breach of national security," their duplicity and hypocrisy provide an unparalleled opportunity for Real America to fully unmask them, and dismantle their manipulative scheme once and for all. Of course, doing so requires a thorough grasp of the real dynamics of the current situation, and more specifically the underhanded machinations by which they hope to succeed.

First, it needs to be understood that their end game has nothing whatsoever to do with any lofty sanctimony of wanting to make America safer. This is, and has always been, all about leftist politics as usual, and nothing more. Rather, the goal is to convince America that this is a scandal riddled Administration, with the same old end game of destroying it through their "death by a thousand cuts."

The left is currently in blatant, full "Alinsky" mode against Hegseth, as outlined in his "Rules for Radicals." They seek to "freeze" him as their target, and by making association with him a "liability," they expect to isolate him from the rest of the Trump inner circle. If successful to that point, they would move towards politically destroying him, which would necessitate his removal from high office, thus neutralizing a powerful opponent but also sending a message to the rest of the Trump White House, that the same fate awaits any of them who dare to upend the Washington Status Quo as Hegseth has done. It is by this means that leftists have often smashed Conservative momentum, and prevented any meaningful reforms from being implemented among them.

While we are indeed at a precarious juncture on account of this malignant assault, it also presents an unmatched opportunity to not only turn the tide on Hegseth's critics

The Signal “invite mistake” looks like a setup. This looks like it is going to be the MO of the left for awhile. The perpetrators need to be caught and the Trump administration needs to be very cautious.

Goldberg made a big mistake. He called the conversation classified top secret, then he spilled the transcript in his media. Spilling classified stuff is bad. Right?

“Trump authorized the attack plan, which had been in development for several weeks, with the final order issued on Saturday, 15 March.”

The leftist Deep State is making its last stand around the world. Look at France with LePen. Britain, Germany, Italy, etc. They are all using Lawfare, the lefts favorite method because there is no accountability to voters. Instead of gloating over our victories, we must double our efforts.

Why doesn’t Trump replace Musk when he steps down from Doge, with General Flynn? Heads would explode!

Flynn doesn’t have the resources (personnel, mental, and financial) that Elon does; nobody does, really.

If the president declares no classified information was communicated over Signal, is anything still secret? The reporter did a fantastic job reporting the facts while concealing things which may have been secret, then was called a liar, it was described as something that never happened, so transcripts were released.

Our team tried to pretend they're liberals - using non-authorized forms of communication, deleting the records of those conversations (directly, with a 7 day destruct, and a 28 day destruct, as set by the Signal individual participants), blaming the whistleblower, declaring it never happened, and when it's proved it happened, then saying it was of no importance.

Is this the future this administration wishes to put forward? Pretend to be liberals? I sure hope not. An error was made, own up to it, put in policies to prevent it from happening again, use authorized forms of communication for government business and preserve the record for the job the American people are paying them to do.

This is silly that we're trying to dance around and pretend this wasn't a total mistake. That the handling of it wasn't done extremely poorly, and probably the first real stumble of an administration that hasn't even reached the 90 day mark. Even worse is having administration officials on the record openly lying.

It's undercutting credibility while the administration is in open lawfare with the judiciary - more unelected federal officials trying to wrest control from the elected leaders.

What he does have, I believe, is the loyalty to America First and MAGA. It nearly cost him his life and his family, but now there is new sheriff in town.

It is time to explode this whole "classified info" thing. General and Flag Officers and commanding officers have a lot of discretion in adopting classification and handling rules to the realities of the tactical situation on the ground. And that goes double for the national security principles. Second a lot information is classified for OPSEC reasons and once that part of the OP has concluced it is automatically declassified [a fact written into the rules of classification and declassification marking]. For instance drop a bomb on x tomorrow could the Secret or even TS today, but it is unclas tomorrow once the bomb is dropped because it is now public knowledge.

And any general or admiral commanding an operation can get on an uncleared communication channel and start directing evolutions during the conduct of a battle. Speed of communications, tactical flexibilty maintenance of the obhective, and unity of command often oughtweigh strict communcations security in the heat of battle. And you know who gets to decide - not lillliputians from the deep administrative state, but the commanders in charge of the operation.

You are absolutely correct in your assessment. Any thinking and knowledgeable person can see this.

That’s why it’s so disappointing to see so many Freepers viciously attack anyone who points out the Emperor has no clothes...not Trump per se, but so many on the NS staff.

But prepare yourself for a high volume of emotional vitriol for saying it.

you are getting attacked because you buy into and repeat the media.

let me repeat. You are getting manipulated by the media.

Trump said it was a mistake and error. There were no lies except from the media who manipulated you.

Excellent points, none of those people were involved in this. And the discretion of battlefield management is great, as well as there being no public records act recording of communication.

You’re also doing a great job of defending the reporter, but if your intention was to defend national security leadership, it’s not really valid arguments.

Error identified is then followed by action to prevent such errors from reoccurring. That’s how to stop repeated errors.

Congressional testimony that it never happened is an even worse error, which also needs action to prevent such errors from reoccuring.

The only real reason why this has traction in the media and you’re trying to put up the fake news shield is that...you know it was also wrong. Trump knows it was wrong. Now follow it up with action to stop the errors from reoccuring. It takes minutes to make an order removing Signal from all government phones and that update can take place within 2 hours.

At this moment, CNN online showing nothing on Hegseth, signal, Waltz. I wonder if they made a mistake yesterday by having Goldberg put Waltz in the crosshairs ( I guess that was NBC ?), and they need a couple days to recalibrate the assault. Today, it’s all about tariffs and how it’s good that more adults are sleeping with stuffed animals.

You think the world revolves around you. You have a so called simple solution to a complex problem.

You want some sort of action rather than long term solutions. The democrats do something and make the problem worse, that is what you want.

Problem solving is different. Trump and his staff have many things on the tables. They are problem solvers.

You want your lollipop now and in the right flavor. I suggest you do some research of deferred gratification.

The Signal “invite mistake” looks like a setup.

Ya think?!?!?

Waltz's Deputy Security Advisor is Alex Wong.
Alex Wong chose the app for the chat.
Alex Wong invited Jeff Goldberg to the chat "accidentally".
Alex Wong is married to Candice Chiu Wong.
Candice Wong clerked for Justice Sotomayor.
Candice Wong worked as a January 6 prosecutor.
Candice Wong worked for Covington and Burning, one of the firms for whom Pres Trump revoked their Security clearance for weaponizing the Administrative state.

That doesn't seem like the right guy to have as the Deputy National Security Director.

It’s not a complex problem. It’s a vast swamp of federal employees using a private messaging system to evade public records act accountability. It’s on all levels of government.

You don’t drain the swamp by letting them keep their secret messaging app that can self destruct messages.
