The reason I rejected the 12th, is that while is says that, was not referencing term limits. But the the 22nd clearly establishes presidential term limits. Repeal of the 22nd Amendment, would render that statement in the 12 amendment back to the Constitutions original requirements which had no term limit as a qualification.

Heck, some people here think that the NBC (Natural Born Citizen) requirement is not longer relevant That merely being born here makes that person a natural born citizen, and is thus eligible for the office of the Presidency or the Vice President.

One who even claims to work at the State Dept. argued that point with me.

It never was relevant. Does the Constitution define a Natural Born Citizen? No it does not. There have been hundreds of various different legal interpretations, but unless and until an Amendment is added - NBC means whatver you want it to.

BTW, were you born in the US? Then yeah - you can be president.
