Most on the list are from the 80's and 90's.
I'm a late boomer, the most annoying song was "Jim Dandy to the Rescue", by Black Oak Arkansas.
Every time I hear it, the song sticks in my head for at least 6 hours.
Have fun it's friday.

Any Paul McCartney song with Michael Jackson or Stevie Wonder. On their own, thumbs up. Together? Garbage.

It's not a pop song, but "Bolero" is horrible. It ranks in the same class as "Little
Drummer Boy". They both make me want to shove knitting needles into my ears.

Most of the songs on this list are condemned for their repetitive nature. It's hard to find a pop song that isn't at least somewhat repetitive.
Others get the stink eye (or ear) because they are "overplayed." Just because a song is overplayed doesn't make it a bad song.

Like Mungo Jerry In the Summertime, an absolutely worthless song. Another is that one hit song by Spandau Ballet, worthless lyrics and song, impossible to get out of your mind.
Lastly, anything by Justin Bieber and the rat look alike, Taylor Swift is worthless.
My take....

Do you like Pina Coladas...dunes of the cape? Both husband and wife post personals to cheat on each other and meet on a date. I automatically change the stations if it comes on. So annoying.

Probably never heard most of them, I stopped listening about then, boring.
I just came across a funny and good country song from 1995 though, CMA video of the year:
“My Wife Thinks You’re Dead”

Most of the list were not familiar. In no particular order, I’d nominate:
“Break My Stride” — Matthew Wilder
“The Fanatic” — Felony
“Black Betty” — Ram Jam (the original is from Leadbelly I think, but the song just sucks)
“Fred Bear” — Ted Nugent (overall I like the Nuge)
“Fantasy” — Aldo Nova
Anything by Whitney Houston
Most of the later catalog of singles from Tom Petty
