Three things were in the Ark of the Covenant: Aaron’s rod that bloomed, the Ten Commandments on stone tablets, and a gold pan of manna.

He did at the time of the Old Testament. His orders. He was there until the glory left the Temple as described in the Book of Ezekiel. He left due to Israel’s idolatry.

Who knew the series would last this long? I don’t know how many millions of dollars have been sunk into their quest. One thing that troubles me is how they are going about it- dropping that giant clam shell and grabbing whatever has been worked loose by the caisson. Not archeology at its most delicate, but I guess there really isn’t any other way.
I’m old enough, I read that same Readers Digest article when I was a kid. It’s always been in the back of my mind-the mystery of it. My supervisor at work happened to tell me about it-I think it was the third or fourth season- I started watching and have been ever since.
Another mystery that captivated me when I was young was the loss of the Hunley by the Confederates during the Civil War. I watched a tv show that told of a different mystery every week, and the Hunley’s disappearance was fascinating. And whattya know, they found it and actually raised it from the deep! What a fascinating story that was!

I think it was there at some time but assuredly not
when the curtain was torn in two. Ron Wyatt seemed
absolutely convinced that he had found the Ark of the
Covenant in the caves in Golgotha - that it contained
a unique blood signature sprinkled on the mercy seat!
They don’t have a clue.
