You’re lucky. I retired from a Big 10 university and, once they learned I was a conservative, I ended up eating lunch alone most of the time. It wasn’t so much that I was a conservative, but rather that they were uncomfortable because they were unable to discuss why they supported the positions they did. Kinda sad in a way...
