A former US Postal Service worker was convicted of stealing around $1.6 million in checks to fund a “lavish lifestyle that included international travel, stays at luxury hotels, and purchases at gentlemen’s clubs,” federal prosecutors said.
Hachikosela Muchimba, 44, of Washington, DC, was found guilty by a federal jury last week on charges of mail theft and bank fraud, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
“According to court documents, between December 2020 and March 2023, Muchimba was an employee of the US Postal Service when he executed a scheme to steal US Treasury checks and private party checks from the US mail,” the DOJ said in a statement.
“Muchimba then deposited the checks, which he either altered and/or falsely endorsed, into bank accounts under his control.”

We had a black mail lady years ago. At that time, I was getting the Epoch Times newspaper. It often had a picture of Trump on the cover and she usually didn’t deliver it. We found out she was arrested for stealing mail. Now we have a mail man who can’t get the addresses right so I get other people’s mail.

Why are strip clubs always referred to as “gentlemen’s clubs”?
Uses and ups have been “losing” a number of packages lately- seems to be Increasingly common- just got another notice that a package “has been delayed” and now “isn’t due until the end of march”- have had packages delayed and no updates on tracking for weeks, then get a notice 5o “cancel the order” and an email to please “report if the package arrives” after cancelation so that we can be charged for it if ti arrives. But they never do arrive, likely having been stolen during transport.

Yeah. I think it was. I just remember that so beloved postal worker dumped his truck full of mail in the woods. I can’t even remember where it occurred. Probably suffering from PTSD, TDS, STDs, etc.

Most likely this is normal activity in whatever s**t hole country he came from - he’ll claim he “didn’t know it was wrong” to steal checks b/c this is done all the time in Africa and everyone accepts it.

My wifes family knew a UPS worker that filled a storage locker full of packages before getting caught. He was white.

Yes, that is puzzling. The clientelle are definitely not gentlemen. Around this part of the country, we also call them “strip clubs.”
