A new true-crime podcast is delving into crimes of the past and present in relation to sex, procreation, pregnancy, birth, and all things human reproduction. The latest episode of Conceiving Crime centers on a shocking story out of Illinois in 2019.
In September of that year, Mark was at his home in Michigan when he received a phone call from his wife, who asked him to drive out to see her sister, whose husband had died just a few days earlier. She needed help cleaning out their home, including the garage. He and his wife had been married for 35 years, but Mark had not once been invited to his in-laws’ home — until now. He agreed to go help.
After arriving, it appeared to Mark that his brother-in-law was a hoarder. He had also been a doctor.
“We began to clear the clutter from the home, and opened up the garage door to find a wall of everything he had saved … car parts, empty dog food containers .. he never discarded a container,” said Mark. “So, as we were digging through the second day, it was the evening, I opened up a cardboard box, and found some bags in there with liquid in it. And as I lifted the third bag out, I realized what I was looking at. I almost collapsed. It was beyond anything I ever thought. My son was with me and came and saw it and he immediately wanted to leave and never come back.”
Mark didn’t know what to do. He considered pushing these particular boxes aside or burying them in the backyard. He knew what would happen if the public learned about what he had just found, but he had walked into that house as a law-abiding citizen, and he wanted to walk out of the house the same way. He called his wife, who stopped what she was doing to pray.
Then they called the police.

nothing bothers me to the core at my age, but this... this has me a little unsettled.
Is there really any surprise that a psychopath would do that?
Live Action is running this story again, talking to family and friends of this abortionist, mostly so we don’t forget it happened.
“Yea it was a teaser I had to click on the link to realize who they were talking about. I remembered quickly.”
I saw where someone pointed to links about the case. That was good enough for me.
I predicted it would happen before it was discovered Kermit Gosnell had done it. This story happened later along with an abortionist in Texas.
What an annoying clickbait post. Just say what the guy found - I’m not going to click on your stupid link.
I know this is no laughing matter, but anytime I see Dr. Evil and “Magma” I just burst out laughing!
I know you were. I didn’t think you did anything wrong there.
I did read the linked article, and it was disturbing. He said he was a child in Dresden and saw human remains in a church. He appears to me to have been mentally ill. He can blame it on anything he wants, but there is nothing normal about this story.
Very disturbing.
I wonder if all those missing MI children are buried in there also.
So I had just sat down with my egg salad sandwich and a cup of coffee and began to read this...
We need a warning on these things, guys!!!
Ewww.
He was a hoarder and saved literal garbage.
I don't blame his wife for wanting to start in on it.
Weren’t the ten other threads enough that you felt the need to post ANOTHER one?
Do you need attention that?????
Or are you getting paid per thread you post on FR that you spam post threads all day long?
More than likely.
Thank you for pointing that out.
