The White House went on to document $8 million in federal spending on transgender mice.
One of President Donald Trump's more astounding claims during his address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night ended with egg on the face of "Fake News losers" at CNN when they tried to fact-check him.
"$8 million to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of," he said during the address. "$60 million for indigenous peoples and Afro-Colombian empowerment in central America, $60 million. $8 million for making mice transgender. This is real!"
CNN reporters initially said the claim was false and said they could not determine where the president came up with the $8 million figure. Eventually, the article was corrected to say the claim "needed context" and deleted the content calling it false.
"An earlier version of this item incorrectly characterized as false Trump's claim about federal money being spent for 'making mice transgender.' The article has been updated with context about the spending, which was for research students on the potential human health impacts of treatments used in gender-affirming care," the article read.
The two versions were posted to social media by the popular "Libs of TikTok" account.
CNN was mocked and ridiculed by many on over the gaffe, but then the White House pounced on the news outlet.
"The Fake News losers at CNN tried to fact check President Trump saying Biden spent $8 million on 'making mice transgender,' but President Trump was right (as usual)," the administration wrote on its official social media account.

Btw; the reason I thought the study was cruel to mice is because it was not a necessary study but the left is so obsessed with transgender stuff they are doing studies on animals. It’s bizarre and our tax dollars are going to this crap.

Too many people around here jump to conclusions and attack. Even if something is worth discussing it does not need to be done in anger. I’m not into that kind of thing.

Somehow he managed to get elected President of the United States twice and get an election stolen from him once.

By the mercy of God "general" Trump won, over very weak Demoncrat candidates, but full victory over the enemy requires silencing all their guns, not only with sound policies and determined direction but with integrity in all areas.
Regarding which, criticism can come from 2 sources and 2 reasons, the "Fact Checkers"of the Left do so with the motive of destroying the conservative President Trump, with those who want him to be fully victorious over the Left hate to see him giving the latter fodder for their canons due to careless parroting of unproven and fallacious statements.

“Context” is their biggest scam, whereby they cast shade on truths that they don’t like until their negative characterization misleads those dull enough to follow their lead.
