Do you remember the opening scenes of that show while the theme song was played with all the different doors that Maxwell Smart had to go thru to just get in, ending in a phone booth?

The real NSA HQ is practically just like that, without the phone booth!..................

It kind of rings a bell, but so many years have passed that somethings like the cone of silence stands out more so. Because the Chief was always so exasperated that Maxwell insisted on the cone of silence where their voices were actually amplified.

Had you not mentioned it, I probably couldn't have answered what the opening was from my memory.

I also had no idea that the NSA is similar either, since I have never had the occasion to enter into the NSA, but why does that not surprise me in the least? 🤣
