Musk’s Mars timeline has accelerated dramatically. SpaceX will launch several Starships to Mars by the end of next year (November/December 2025).

Not sure about sending ships to Mars next year, since 15 refuelings are needed just to get to the moon. And the refueling concept for StarShip exists only on paper, and any attempt will be multiple StarShips Flights down the road. ( Refueling is needed because StarShip is massively heavy, not light composite as are other rockets ).

StarShip Flight 8 Monday March 3, 4 CT.

Mars will never be able to support human life long term and en mass.

As brilliant as Musk is, I cannot believe he does not see this.

The obstacles to life on Mars for long term en mass are just too great.

Like living on the sun will never be possible. Only difference is degree.

Yeah - put me down for saying this.

I don’t recall any “refuelings” in our first lunar landings.

Once you escape Earths atmosphere there is no friction to speak of. Only course adjustments and fuel used for a soft landing at 1/6 Earths gravity.

Of course, it takes fuel to take off from the moon, but at a lower gravity.
