What I learned was people really covet property

No doubt. I experienced a cold, hard, and very sad reality. My husband, children, and I live 500+ miles away and travel “home” at least 2x each year for 25+ years to spend time with our parents - all now deceased, siblings, and extended family. Following the deaths of my mother (2018) and her sister (2017), long story, short: I had to hire a lawyer to extract myself from being a joint-owner with 7 other relatives who communicated little (property tax due-date) to nothing (maintenance costs, land-lease agreements, rental property, insurances, etc.) with/to me about the property. Finally settled in fall of 2023. My concern was/is for my children and grandchildren as I did not want to leave them bound to an even more tangled web...

Hillary is beyond delusional if she thinks she’s a hair icon. I double-checked the definition of “icon” just in case it had changed somehow when I wasn’t paying attention, and it means the same thing it’s always meant - “a person or thing regarded as a representative symbol or as worthy of veneration”. When I think of someone with great hair, I would never think of Hillary Clinton. I’d think of Melina Kanakaredes, Amy Winehouse, Farrah Fawcett, Nicole Kidman and probably 1000 others before Hillary.

This is my first executor experience, and thanks to the destruction of my formerly naïve nature because of our covid experiences, I don’t automatically trust strangers any more. Some of my friends and relatives are a bit sketchy now too. Maybe my covid experience has actually prepared me for this moment to make me more careful and suspicious of my fellow man.

I’ve dilly dallied enough for today. I’m fully awake and it’s time to attack my to-do list.

A real estate agent that I had recently met that wanted to list my home and property recommended a local appraiser, he came in way low. Having worked in real estate myself at one time I knew about what it was worth. Word got back to me from a friend that the appraiser was showing pictures of the inside of my home to a buyer even though I had not listed my place. The pictures should have been kept confidential.

I came to the conclusion that the appraiser and real estate agent were going to list my property low, find a buyer that was willing to turn around and flip it for what it was really worth then split the profit.

We have been the de facto muscle for the UK (not the native John Six-pint Brit, but the commercial and financial empire) for a long time. When you control enough movers and shakers in the US, it's apparently relatively easy to manipulate and - to quote Cass Sunstein - "nudge" the US into being supportive and incredibly generous.

The old clippings urging Americans to donate weapons for supporting the embattled "Home Guard" should remind us of the duplicity of the UK as well as the somewhat - shall we say - "intricate" relationships between UK power brokers and certain segments of American society. The fates of all those firearms collected is a precautionary tale about gullibility and the true record of the UK when it comes to controlling their lower-class subjects, and can also provide a nauseating glimpse of wealthy "do-gooders" and their global connections.
