This is SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for the military. I know for SURE it is for the Army.
It’s called an, AAR, (After Action Report), and your Commander could ask you to submit one for a day, a week, a month, or at the end of a long training exercise. And if it was that last one? You bet your @ss you’re documenting what you did EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY of the exercise; successes, failures, where to improve, etc.
Civilians these days! What a bunch of crybaby losers, LOL!

Anyone who has a problem with this deserves to be mocked as Trump is doing. And to be fired.
Do they seriously think Musk is going to read their mini productivity reports?
He only wants replies to confirm there are actual people at the other end who are getting checks.
Their emails could say:
• made coffee
• peed
• ate lunch
• cruised the net
• looked at porn
Nobody cares what they did except reply to the email.

This is unbelievable, in the private sector you have performance reviews, reports, sometimes daily reports that have to be submitted, and these idiots can’t answer a freakin’ email and list 5 things?
Monday - Tues - Wed - Thurs - Friday....Write down what you did you did each day, report is finished - 15 to 20 minutes tops. But WAAAAAH, they are being abused? Just the fact that they are complaining should get them fired.
Someone should point out that the DEMOCRAT run city council in New York city mandated that cops write out reports EVERY DAY for even the smallest contact with the public, INCLUDING people asking for directions or the time!
They need to fire her ass.
I don’t remember her crying when biden and ilk IMPRISONED peaceful protestors for years on end or crying for the elderly folks who were thrown into prison for praying outside abortion clinics- bet they struggled too- but I can’t recall her complaining about any of that!~
Okay. If they are too stupid and unable to write down what they did last week, send them another email and tell them to come into the office tomorrow to prove they are actually still alive.
I don’t even have a job (retired) yet I could come up with more than 5 useful things I did in the last week.
She may think she’s the boss, but she isn’t. So, shut yer piehole and list 5 things you did last week. You did something, didn’t you? Then what was it.
I retired last year. We keep our hard calendars for years. I will bet you could pull out any week, and I could list 5 things I did that week. Back then. Sheesh.
Elon even said just about any response is acceptable.
They are just looking for the ghost employees whose paychecks go to the union bosses.
If she actually knew what her job consisted of, what her responsibilities were every day, she should have been able to write her job description, and its daily requirements in a very short time.
i did the 5 bullet points today. My department leadership apparently thought Elon’s email might apply to contractors. I am one of those. I did it.
It took about 15 minutes, with some more adjustments as I sent it to my company’s contract manager as directed.
She spent more time going on CNN to moan about this than I took to actually do it, even though, as it turns out after all, I didn’t have to.
She’s just making excuses for not working and getting caught. She tries to whine about it on CNN which will expose her more. How stupid. I don’t think she’s a real gov employee anyway. This will come to light too, if true.
That’s not going to work out well. Some jobs involve more than what you did for just one week out of the year.
