RE: I pray for Pope Francis to not suffer.

I have prayed that, too.

Not my leader as I am not a Catholic.

I also pray he will see the error of his ways and will repent in time.

Me too, but I can’t imagine that the votes are there for a Burke in the college of cardinals. He’d probably do all right among developing-world voters, but he’s a no-go for the apostates appointees of Europe and North America (e.g., Cupich, McElroy et al.). I think that the best we can hope for is a trad-friendly moderate. But if the next pope calls himself Francis II, fasten your seatbelts because the assumption will be that he wants to finish the protestantization that Bergoglio started.

I pray that he repents of his sins and greets God peacefully.

So how do they get from 138 down to 120?

In Mass this morning, there was NO mention of the pope in the prayers. And NO prayers for our ultra left archbishop. Just a generic prayer for “the bishops”. Our priest is from Nigeria and tends to be pretty conservative.

Our priest is also from Nigeria and pretty conservative. But every week a lay minister reads off a list of people and groups we're asked to pray for (from the Bishop's office, I think), and the Pope was on that list.

How many of the Cardinals have kept silent rather than ruffle "The False Pope".

I'm 80...you can't do anything you please and get the Church's blessing.

Everyone knows in their heart when they messed up...and that means hurting something or someone. I keep trying to be better in any way I can...but maybe that's just cuz I'm getting close to the gate. Well, it can't work...

The big hitter prayer is for Bergoglio to revert to the One True Faith.

Recovery....wait, what?

“you can’t do anything you please and get the Church’s blessing.”

Bergoglio uses “we bless everyone” as a convenient cover for jettisoning Church teaching on sexual morality, but he doesn’t actually mean “we bless everyone.” Come and ask him for a blessing for the ICE officers. Come and ask him for a blessing for the defense contractors... or any of his various bêtes noires, and see how sincere he is about “everyone.”

Pope Francis has sown confusion in the laity.
But I’m praying twice daily for his eternal soul.

In my experience, the vast majority of the elderly pass between 1-5am.

Kidney failure usually means the end is near. Hard as it may be for us, we should pray for his conversion and that the Lord grants mercy on his soul.

Sort of my sentiments, also. I hope the next pope is more along the lines of a Pope Benedict. It would be nice to have a real intellectual as a Pope for your flock and not just a neo Marxist.
