Frank Buckles, the last AMERICAN WWI veteran, died February 27, 2011 not far from my home in WEST Virginia.

His mortal remains currently reside in Arlington National Cemetery ...

It always breaks my heart to look at pictures of young recruits in WWII. So young! I’m sure you’ve watched ‘Band of Brothers.’ Wish I could say that I ENJOYED it, but it was really well done.
