Vice President Kamala Harris is once again in the spotlight for her public speaking—this time facing allegations that she was intoxicated while delivering a disjointed address to the cast and crew of A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical on Broadway.
Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, attended two Broadway productions over the weekend, watching A Wonderful World before later seeing Gypsy the New York Post reported. But it was her comments following the first show that have set social media ablaze.
While addressing the cast and crew, Harris struggled to string together coherent thoughts, delivering yet another infamous “word salad.”
“When we think about these moments where we see things that are being taken but also let’s see it as you know, nature abhors a vacuum,” Harris said.
“So where some—where there’s a vacancy, then let’s fill it,” Harris continued. “But we have to, we have to be clear-eyed. And it doesn’t mean we don’t see the beauty in everything. Right? These things all coexist.”

The muddled remarks left many questioning whether Harris had been drinking before stepping up to the microphone. Video clips of the moment quickly went viral, with critics branding her a “drunk auntie” and a “functional alcoholic.”
Others speculated about Harris’s well-being, pointing out her frequent sniffing and erratic speaking style.
Whether the former Vice President was under the influence or simply delivering another one of her signature rambling speeches, her ability to turn even a simple message into a verbal labyrinth continues to baffle and amuse Americans.
When you’re someone else’s sock puppet, the alcohol is legal, easy access to anesthesia for the pain, Civil War style.

And this woman COULD have been President.... Trump wasn’t the only one to dodge a bullet in Pennsylvania.
Talk about fake looking tan.
And her word salad is par for the course.
Her demeanor is what screams *sloshed*.
Unburdened by coherence
Hammered? No. Buzzed and dumb? Yeah
Prescription drugs. She thinks she is fooling everyone too.
I’ve never really thought much of those videos showing her “drunk”. I mean, she may or may not have been.
Then I saw one yesterday where she looked and acted just like our alcoholic daughter in law when she is, in fact, hammered. It was pretty obvious.
I mean, nobody is perfect, but still. History is not going to be kind to the democrats of 2024. And I suspect it will eventually come out that yes, 2020 was stolen.
This IS Heels up. Why are people surprised?
The same commies directing Chomo Joe would have directed her. All she would do is sign the papers put under her wine glass and be “the historic first black Indian woman president.”
I love Jimmy Failla’s segments “wine or pills” where he played a Kamala clip and guests had to guess what her intoxicant of the day was. He should have added “just plain stupid”.
Starting to think Willie Brown didn’t hire her for her brains.
The video from the link at the top shows a sloshed woman. Just look at her demeanor. She definitely shouldn’t be behind the wheel of any vehicle.
This looks like a video game where everyone is an NPC
Yes, I have seen her a few times talking and moving, especially her hands, just like a relative of ours who drank a lot. It is kind of unnerving to me.
***Trump wasn’t the only one to dodge a bullet in Pennsylvania.***
Divine Intervention, indeed!
Here is sober Kamala—dumb as a rock.
Then there is sober Kamala explaining artificial intelligence:
