If it wasn’t written by Louis L’Amour or O. Henry (yes, he wrote some western short stories), I don’t read it.............

Shock! So, you’re saying “O’Henry” is/ was more than just a candy bar, with chocolate covered peanuts?
I had heard of a writer from long ago named O’ Henry, but I never knew for what kind of writing.
To: lee martell
He wrote short stories about where he lived during the late 1800’s early 1900’s. North Carolina, Texas, Honduras, NYC. Some were very funny......................

At the end of my drinking days, I purchased box wine - quantity over quality. Yesterday I celebrated 34 years of sobriety, but damn, at the time boxed wine was so economical!!!

it does not. My husband used to drink coors light when I met him, but I have inadvertently made him a wine connoisseur.

Christianity Roman Catholicism has been called the religion of wine for obvious reasons.
There. Fixed it.

My husband’s Italian relatives swore red wine “thinned the blood” and prevented heart attacks and strokes. They all lived over 85+ years, many into their 90s - so maybe there is something to it after all.
They made their own wine in the bathtub (I’m sure during prohibition too).

My wife has one little sign up that says “Wine me up and watch me go”.
She has a magnet on the refrigerator that says “Wine takes the bitch right out of me”.
I beg to differ….
