Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin expressed frustration over not being asked to serve in the Trump administration, saying the president's "gatekeepers" are "tight."
Speaking to NewsNation's "On Balance With Leland Vittert" on Friday, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate said she's "frustrated" that she hasn't been asked to be a part of the administration.
"I thought that there would be a position in Energy in that Department, because that's my baby: wanting energy independence for America. You know, that's all about security and sovereignty of our nation is to be energy independent," Palin said. "But that hasn't happened."
The 2008 running mate of the late Sen. John McCain said she's been surprised that her background in an energy-rich state and national politics has kept her off the administration's short list.
"I didn't even get credentials to attend the GOP convention, if you can believe it," she added. "They're tight. They're tight.
"And I'm the only living Republican nominee who had run for VP or president who supported Trump. And even I couldn't get in. So, you know, yeah, they're pretty tight ... but I'd love to serve."
Palin, who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2022, predicted that if Trump isn't able to get his mandate through, some personnel changes are likely to happen early.
"If things aren't going to be smooth, if his agenda is not going to be ushered in per the vote of the people, the wishes of the people, then I think they will regroup and maybe already change some persons," she said.

I am going to trust President Trump. There must be a very good reason for not wanting her there.
She was in politics to make a change, that has been accomplished, but another job where she can help would be useful to us all.

Under Alaska law, she was 100% responsible for defending herself, which put the Palins into debt to the tune of $600,000, which is why she had to resign and start making money---they just couldn't afford it anymore. Remember when Obama's minions even had her legal defense fund declared illegal?

I guess everybody ahs forgotten what she and her "Mama Grizzlies" did in 2009-2011 with the TEA party movement, and launching Conservatives like Cruz, Lee, and Rand Paul into Congress with her much-coveted endorsements and big rallies.
Trump should do the right thing and find a place for her in his administration.

Wasn't that because her daughter Bristol moved to Arizona in 2010? Are you sure that Sarah Palin relocated out of Arizona and didn't just buy a second home to be closer to her daughter and grandchild?
News reports are that Bristol only lived in Arizona for about a year before moving back to Alaska. Sarah Palin put the Arizona home up for sale in 2016. Isn't it possible that Sarah Palin only bought the house in Arizona to be closer to her daughter and grandson, and then sold it after her daughter moved back home?

I thought it was normal for a well-heeled Alaskan to own a second home in a warm state and especially for one who was part of the national political scene/GOP party politics and needed a presence in the lower 48.
