The article is still quite cautions - it isn't going to claim 'causation' and I suspect that's because Faucism was still on patrol in 2015. For this reason, I expect there's a raft of counter information published and ready for 'the signal' to declare this misinformation - so I'm posting for those who want to look at Faucism during H1N1 1.0.
Here's an excerpt from an article linked in the OP:
Antibodies to influenza nucleoprotein cross-react with human hypocretin receptor 2
Science Translational Medicine1 Jul 2015Immunological mistaken identity
New reports of narcolepsy increased after the vaccination campaign against the 2009 A(H1N1) influenza pandemic in some countries but not others. Now Ahmed et al. examine differences between the vaccines used and find a potential mechanistic explanation for the vaccine-specific effect. They found a peptide in influenza nucleopeptide A that shared protein residues with human hypocretin receptor 2, which has been linked to narcolepsy. The vaccine used in unaffected countries contained less influenza nucleoprotein. Indeed, patients with putative vaccine-associated narcolepsy produced antibodies that cross-reacted to both the influenza and the hypocretin receptor 2 epitopes. Although these data do not demonstrate causation, they provide a possible explanation for the association of this particular influenza vaccination with increased reports of narcolepsy.
H1N1 Vaccine PING
For those who may be interested.
I’m not sure what to make of this report.
Let me sleep on it.
I will no longer consider any virus shots. A few days of a runny nose and fever isn’t so bad considering the consequences of a bad vax.
The older I get, the more I distrust vaccines. Especially newer vaccines that are rushed to market with little adverse reaction studies. And absolutely zero long term studies.
Hahahahahahah…zzzzzzz
