Two liberals believe they cracked Trump code on winning the presidency

Two liberal pundits broke down what they believe could be President-elect Donald Trump’s code to winning the White House.

New York Times columnist Ezra Klein and MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes discussed the differences between the approaches of Republicans and Democrats when it comes to attention and money in politics. In a recent podcast episode titled “Democrats are Losing the War for Attention. Badly,” the two pundits theorized why Trump and the Republicans were so successful at garnering support in 2024.

Klein first suggested that Republicans value attention over money, while Democrats value the inverse.

“Money is very powerful when there’s not much attention, but Donald Trump doesn’t control Republican primaries with money. He controls him with attention. And I keep having to write about [Elon] Musk, and I keep seeing he’s the richest man in the world, but it’s actually not what matters about him right now. It’s just how he managed to get the attention and become the character and the wielder of all this attention,” he said on “The Ezra Klein Show.”

I know an article from a month ago, but LOL! democrats and Kamala spent $1.5 billion and lost bigly.

Trump stayed on message while Kamala was everywhere like a wild tossed salad.

Democrats are no closer to “cracking the code” than they were on November 6th.

The Rajin Cajun tried to tell them but they have ignored him for years now. Hopefully, they will continue to do so.

As some FReeper succinctly put it many moons ago “We’re a country with an economy, not an economy with a country.”

I had to check to make sure it wasn’t the Bee. But kudos to these guys for figuring out that no one wants to pay attention to idiots.

Here’s the secret code. I’ll even give it to you without the password and secret handshake. He says what we want to hear, does what we want to see done, and he keeps his promises.

Voila!

We knew that Democrats value money. That’s why Democrat politicians who start out as middle class Americans end up with fortunes in the tens of millions or hundreds of millions.

Code broken! (I shoudla been a code-breaker)

James Carville nailed it. It’s not a money thing. Carville recently said that the Democrats are focusing on policies that maybe only 1% of the country cares about.

Did the DNC listen to Carville? Fortunately for us, no. Just look at who the DNC just selected as the party’s vice-chairman.

Many blacks and Hispanics have strayed from the Democrat plantation. That weirdo will probably convince zero of them to come back.

Look at what the Democrats support:

—Incredibly wasteful federal spending
—Massive support of trans and LGBT with big federal dollars
—Censoring Americans and hiding it behind AID and other federal programs
—Massive illegal immigration
—Anti white hate and massive discrimination against whites and especially white males in education and employment
—Endless foreign wars and creating new enemies with LGBT propaganda around the world
—Coddling criminals while hassling average law abiding citizens—what Sam Francis called “anarcho tyranny”—which has turned most American cities into toxic waste dumps
—High taxes of everybody and everything
—Supporting fish and other “endangered” animals above people creating insane energy costs
—Calling anyone who disagrees with them about anything a Nazi, racist and/or right wing extremist

I wonder what the problem is....

The last Democrat who got attention that way was Bernie Sanders. The party didn’t like him getting attention so he got another free house to go away.

As you noted, Bernie was paid to just go away. Back in 2016 the DNC carefully rigged the primaries in favor of Hillary, and against him.

Bernie should thank his lucky stars. He got a nice house. Hillary could have had him whacked instead.

EXCERPT:

Van Jones, one of the Left’s level-headed analysts, captured the truth lucidly in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cillizza. When Cillizza asked Jones how such a supposedly unlikely guy as Trump “became the one that cracked the code,” Jones rejected the premise of the question.

“Can we cut it out? … Donald Trump is smarter than me, you, and all critics. You know how we know? Because he has the White House, the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court, the popular vote, he has a massive media ecosystem bigger than the mainstream built around him and for him, and a religious fervor in a political movement around him, and his best buddy is the richest person in the history of the world, and the most relevant Kennedy is with him. This dude is a phenomenon. He is the most powerful human on Earth in our lifetime. And we’re still saying, ‘How is this guy doing it?’ We look like idiots.”

Personality, leadership and charisma.
The Republican, with weaker institutional control, just let the natural leaders rise.

And its true that Musk gets attention not because he is rich, but because he has the gravitas of achievement. Its as if he were a victorious Roman general, having ridden his chariot through several triumphs. And he has a weird sort of charisma as well.

“Democrats are Losing the War for Attention. Badly.”

I think Ezra Klein and Chris Hayes are angry because the media could not control the narrative of this past election. Donald Trump did, and he also made the voters pay attention to the ineptitude and cluelessness of Kamala Harris. The media was unable to run interference for her they way they did for Biden.

So when these two refer to who lost the “attention war” it’s not the Democrats they’re talking about. It’s themselves. The American media knows they control the talking points for the Democrat Party and they failed in 2024!
